We are a members' social club and we welcome new members and visitors to join us.
There is live entertainment every Saturday evening with Bingo in the downstairs concert room. Monthly entertainment details can be found here and on our Facebook page - Gateacre Institute.
Upstairs is a members only bar with two professional snooker tables with teams in local leagues. All Major sporting events are shown.
Needing a venue whatever the occasion? We have a large room for 100 people for hire and work jointly with an experienced catering firm.

ABOUT
Gateacre Institute has been a long standing building at the heart of Gateacre since 1838 and was originally a school and library. About 100 years ago the building was gifted to the club by the Walker family with a covenant that it be used as a working mans club. With the passing of time it changed to a social club and now offers membership to everyone.

Lovely recently refurbished room that caters for 100 people is available to hire. We work in partnership with a catering firm to make life easier for you though you can bring in your own caterers.

We are available for party occasions and funerals where all your needs will be taken care of by experienced, dedicated staff.
Sorry we are unable to accept bookings for 18th or 21st birthdays.
